It’s been a tough time

Vitor Roque has made it clear just how miserable he’s been at Barcelona after scoring twice for Brazil’s Under-20s over the international break.

The forward, who sealed a loan move to Real Betis over the summer, says he feels happy for the first time in a long while.

“I hadn’t laughed in six or seven months” he said.

“I have thanked everyone from the Brazilian national team who has been here for this week that I have been able to live.

“It was a short period of time, but I made the most of it, I joked and enjoyed myself, which is the most important thing… and when the game came, the goals came.”

Vitor Roque’s transfer to Barcelona has been nothing short of a nightmare. He barely played after arriving from Athletico Paranaense, after Barca decided to bring his move forward.

The youngster’s goals with Brazil will hopefully give him a big confidence boost before he returns to La Liga and attempts to make an impact at Betis.
